ScrnFix ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
TL;DR: ScrnFix is a local desktop app. Your window layouts, presets, and workspace data never leave your computer. We only collect your email (for license delivery) and a device fingerprint (for activation).
Email address — provided when you request a beta key or purchase a license. Used to deliver your license key and send purchase confirmations.
Device fingerprint — a hashed hardware identifier generated on your device during license activation. Used to enforce the 2-device activation limit. We cannot identify your hardware from this hash.
License key — the key assigned to your account, stored on our server for validation purposes.
Payment data — processed entirely by our payment providers (Paddle and NOWPayments). We do not store credit card numbers, bank details, or cryptocurrency wallet addresses. We only receive a confirmation of payment with your email and transaction ID.
License data is stored on our server (Vultr, US). All workspace presets, window layouts, and app configuration are stored locally on your device in %APPDATA%/com.scrnfix.app/ and never transmitted.
License records are retained for the lifetime of your license. Payment records are retained for accounting and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

The ScrnFix website does not use tracking cookies or analytics scripts. The desktop application does not use cookies.
ScrnFix is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
